WoW! i have spent a lot of time and written a lot about Kumta, but did not know this amazing diversity of birds there.

On my visit there in Dec, I spotted a few ‘bald eagles.” Theses were much smaller than those in Alaska, but bald eagles none the less. what a thrill!

When I visit there in July I will make it a point to check out the birds.

Uma, we could do very little birding in Kumta due to time constraints, hence did not get many shots.
